Bass

Bass are a type of freshwater fish that are popular among anglers. There are two main types of bass: largemouth and smallmouth.

Largemouth bass have a large mouth and are usually green in color. They prefer warmer water and can be found in shallow areas.

Smallmouth bass have a small mouth and are brown in color. They are often referred to as bronze backs, and they are stronger and more feisty than largemouth bass. They prefer cooler water and can be found in deeper areas.

Southern Ontario is home to some world-class bass fishing, particularly for smallmouth bass. Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, Lake Simcoe, Lake St. Clair, and the St. Lawrence River all offer great opportunities for catching these fish.

So if you're looking for a good place to go bass fishing, be sure to check out one of these lakes or rivers in Southern Ontario.
